Holland G. Mangum Recreation Complex

The Seminole Holland G. Mangum Recreation Complex was renovated and re-opened in October 2001. In May 2005, the Complex was dedicated and re-named the Holland G. Mangum Recreation Complex. This active Recreation complex is features a 58,000 sq. ft. Recreation Center, a Junior Olympic Family Aquatic Center, multi-purpose athletic fields, two outdoor basketball courts, and “state of the art” ADA accessible playground.

The Recreation Center offer many amenities that include a fitness center, basketball gymnasium, dance studio, arts & crafts studio, music room, a pre-school center, teen room, senior adult center, locker rooms, meeting rooms, game room, and auditorium.

Along with these wonderful amenities, the Holland G. Mangum Complex hosts numerous Special events & recreation activities including the annual Pow Wow Festival & Parade, Community Halloween & Easter Events, the annual Daddy/Daughter night out, Diaper Derby, Doggie Derby, and the ‘Tri if you Dare” Youth Triathlon.

The complex also hosts community groups including the Seminole Shooting Stars Soccer Association, the Seminole Recreation Advisory Board, the Seminole Junior Women's Club and many Seminole Area Homeowners Associations. The Recreation Center offers a wonderful auditorium and catering kitchen used for banquets, weddings, and other large gatherings.

The Holland G. Mangum Recreation Complex is an active park setting located across from Seminole City Hall and adjacent to the Seminole Community Library. This multi-purpose Recreation Complex assists in establishing a sense of community, a sense of achievement, and good health
